Dugg Sauna is a floating sauna located at the guest pier in Notodden, on the backside of the Book and Blues House. The sauna offers a fantastic view of Heddalsvatnet and the mountains to the south.
The sauna is a perfect place to gather with friends or family. Here, you can relax from everyday life and enjoy a pleasant time together. You can conclude the sauna experience with a refreshing dip in Heddalsvatnet.
Opening Hours and parking
Dugg Sauna is open every day, all year round. The key to the sauna is located in a keybox outside. The code will be provided upon booking. Parking is available nearby.
Sauna Rules
- Show respect to other guests.
- A good sauna experience starts with good hygiene, so please be clean before entering and sit on a towel.
- Clean up after use and mop the floors for any water spills. Excessive dirt or mess in the sauna will result in a cleaning fee of NOK 850.
- Dugg Sauna has one changing room. You should bring your swimwear, towels, and drinking water.
- All swimming is at your own risk, and we do not recommend mixing alcohol and swimming.
- If you feel uncomfortable, dizzy, or unwell in any way, please leave the sauna immediately.
- Food is not allowed in the sauna.
Facilities and other Information
- The sauna is equipped with a lifebuoy and a fire extinguisher.
- The sauna does not have showers or toilets.
- The facilities are partially accessible to wheelchair users.
- Please note that you must leave the sauna and changing room by the end of your reserved time.
