For avid off-road cyclists, Villmarkseventyret offers a thrilling 23-kilometer circular tour. Parts of the route are highly challenging, but it's also possible to choose sections with moderate difficulty.

Description of the Bike Route
The bike route "Villmarksrunden" is located between Lunde and Drangedal in Nome municipality, Telemark. The route starts at the parking lot near Åslandsfjell, approximately 15 kilometers from Hogga lock (Telemark Canal). From here, you cycle up Sverdalsvegen and Hurumvegen to Storlifjell and follow the markings further. It takes about 3 hours to cycle the entire route depending on skill level and bike type (e-bikes are the fastest). You can also divide the route into 3 different sections of about 1 hour each.
The route is best suited for experienced trail cyclists
Collaboration and Volunteer Efforts The route was officially opened by Nome mountain biking on 20.05.22 and is maintained with the help of volunteer efforts and donations. Villmarksrunden is a collaboration between Nome mountain biking and Høidalen, Sætre, and Åsland cultural historical association.
