Rauland is one of Telemark's largest winter destinations, and Rauland Ski Centre is among the larger facilities in Norway. Here, they facilitate great skiing experiences for the whole family in a snow-reliable mountain area. At Rauland Ski Centre, you'll find 12 different ski lifts transporting you around the area, with slopes suitable for all levels. Our longest trail is 3400 meters, and the total length of the trail network is 35 km. Rauland's highest point in the facility is 1160 meters above sea level.
A ski center with 3 ski areas
The center consists of three ski areas. Tiur and Holtardalen have 11 lifts and 25 slopes, while Vierli has 1 children's lift and 1 children's slope. At Rauland Ski Centre, there's something for the whole family.
At Vierli, the little ones can frolic in our activity area. Children can ski in our excellent children's area, play in Vierli Snow Castle, try ski bingo in our activity track, ride mini scooters, and much more.
The area at Vierli is open every weekend and every day during holidays.

Every Tuesday and Friday in Hotellbakken. Extra evenings during holidays.
Dedicated children's areas and free lift passes for children
The ski center has dedicated children's areas with extra slow ski lifts. Children's bands in Holtardalen. In the children's area at Vierli, you'll also find trampolines, fun trails, mini scooters, sledding, activity trails, lots of figures, and Norway's coolest snow castle.
All children under 6 years old ski for free at Rauland Ski Centre.
Ski rental
At Rauland Ski Centre, you can rent board and ski equipment for everyone, both beginners and experienced individuals. We have ski rental at our three locations. At Vierli, you'll find our cross-country ski rental. Here, we also offer ski preparation.

Ski school for all ages
Here, we offer ski school for both adults and children. Our skilled ski instructors conduct both private and group lessons.

Cross-country skiing
Rauland offers a fantastic and diverse cross-country trail network from November to May. In total, we offer 150 km of newly prepared trails every day.
