Kongens Dam is idyllically located at the end of Hellestvedtvannet at Herre. Here is a beautifully constructed sandy beach, and there is sandy bottom a bit out. Floating pier with diving board is also here. Kongens Dam is an excellent swimming area for the whole family. This is also a good starting point for paddling to Mevann, Flåte or Langen.
