Two floating saunas has been installed at lake Kvitåvatn close to the Gaustablikk Mountain Lodge. Here you can enjoy the warmth while you look out over the beautiful natural landscape, with Mount Gausta as the real eye-catcher.
Capacity and facilities
The saunas take up to 10 people and have changing rooms and a bathing ladder right outside. There are also lifebuoys hanging at the saunas. The swimming pool at Gaustablikk Mountain Lodge is available during the same period, for an additional fee.
Opening hours
The sauna is open Monday – Sunday at 09.00 – 21.00
Rules for using the sauna
- Age limit for rental: 18 years
- Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by adults/guardians
- It is not permitted to bring food and drink/alcohol into the saunas

The saunas must be reserved. Reservations are made by contacting the reception at Gaustablikk Mountain Lodge.
