About

At mount Lifjell, you'll find a family-friendly ski resort with two lifts and five slopes of varying difficulty levels. Lifjellparken offers exciting challenges with many fun elements.

At the Ski Center, there is a T-bar lift and four slopes of varying difficulty (ranging from 300 to 1200 meters).

Lifjell Vinterland is a dedicated area, ideal for children and beginners in alpine skiing and snowboarding. Here, you'll find an easy, child-friendly slope of approximately 350 meters with a platter lift.
Lift passes can be booked quickly and easily online here.

Ski Center and Winter Land
The alpine offerings at Lifjell consist of the Ski Center and Winter Land. Winter Land is a separate area ideal for children and beginners in downhill skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. Here, you'll find an easy downhill slope of about 350 meters and a magic carpet lift.

In the Ski Center, you'll find a T-bar lift and four slopes with varying levels of difficulty (ranging from 300 to 1200 meters).

Lifjell Park (Terrain Park)
The park's features will vary depending on weather and snow conditions. Lifjell Park has been developed in recent years into a diverse and exciting park with both easy and more challenging elements. Many jumps, rails, and pipes make it suitable for a range of skill levels. Continuous efforts are made to further develop the park and introduce variety in the elements throughout the season.

Lifjell Ski School
Lifjell Ski School has highly qualified instructors. Whether you want to give your children a good start in their skiing career or it's the adults in the family looking to try snowboarding, we have instructors to provide you with a great experience. See here for more information and bookings.

You can find a fantastic 360-degree view of the slopes here.

Cross-Country Skiing Trails
At Lifjell, there are 80 km of groomed cross-country skiing trails. On the Jønnbu plateau, there are four child-friendly circular routes, each spanning 2-3 km.

There are also many opportunities for more challenging ski tours in the beautiful high mountain terrain. Varied trails at altitudes of 1000-1100 meters above sea level, surrounded by several peaks reaching up to 1300 meters above sea level. All the trails start from the large parking lot at Jønnbu. If the weather is rough in the mountains, the Vihus trails (a 5-minute drive from Lifjell) in lower-lying forest terrain can be a good alternative.

Lifjelltunet Cabin Park
Lifjelltunet offers cozy rental cabins in beautiful, sunny surroundings at the top of Lifjell.
Book your stay here.

A place were you can enjoy all year around. In Winter there is a lot of crosscountrytracks in the Snowy Mountains. In summer you can enjoy the summer tracks. You can also rent hotel room or cottages. Read full review
