This charming family-owned guesthouse has 8 charming rooms, where breakfast is included, and dinner can be pre-ordered as desired. From here, it is a short walking distance to Hamaren Activity Park and Tretoppvegen, as well as close proximity to a café, restaurant, and shops.
Fyresdal Kurs og Leirsted
300 meters from Fyresdal Business Park and the entrance to Hamaren Activity Park, Fyresdal Kurs & Leirsted is beautifully located by Fyresvatn with its own multipurpose hall, self-service camping with motorhome spaces, caravan spaces, and tent spaces. The campsite does not accept advance reservations but has large capacity. The site has 230 beds divided into 36 rooms with private bathrooms. In the main building, you will find a lounge with a fireplace, a lobby with a kiosk, and a meeting room. Additionally, there are 9 apartments with 6 beds and one bathroom, and one apartment with 2 beds. Rooms and apartments must be booked in advance.
Kvipt Gjestegard
If you wish to stay on a beautiful mountain farm surrounded by stunning nature, you can book a stay at Kvipt Gjestegard, which is currently owned and operated by Olav Kvipt, known from the NRK series "Olav på Kvipt." Here, you will feel as if you are stepping back into the national romantic era, with grazing cows in the landscape and farm buildings from the 1600s. At the mountain farm, you can choose to stay in holiday homes, storehouses, or log cabins. Kvipt Gjestegard also offers rental of event venues for small and large occasions.
Fossumsanden Camping and Cabin Rental
Fossumsanden Camping and Cabin Rental is idyllically situated by Skredvatnet in Fyresdal. Here, you can rent cabins with a capacity of 2 to 6 people. The 13 rental cabins are scattered around the area with their own sunny terraces and car access. Fossumsanden has a lovely bathing area and grill hut. Guests can also rent a sauna, which provides access to a lounge, changing rooms with showers and toilets, and a secluded outdoor area with a plunge pool and seating around the waterfall. Fiskebustøylen
Fyresdal has many beautiful fishing lakes, perfect for activities that can be combined with family and friends or for some relaxing alone time. Fiskebustøylen is idyllically located by Holmevatn in Fyresdal. From here, you can hike in fantastic terrain and fish for trout in 32 small and large fishing lakes. Fiskebustøylen offers rental of 3 lovely cabins:
Fiskebu – 11 beds, WC, shower, gas stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher.
Olavsbu – 5 beds (two in a loft), bio toilet, shower, hot plate, and refrigerator.
Rundebu – 2 beds, bio toilet, shower, hot plate, and refrigerator.

Horse adventure
Do you want to live like a real cowboy in the wild West-Telemark? "Horse adventure" is located on the old forest farm Tortveit Nistog in Fyresdal. Here, you will find a variety of exciting experiences such as horseback riding, hunting and fishing, orienteering, canoeing, and mountain hiking. You can choose to stay in a panoramic apartment that offers a fantastic view of the surrounding nature. The apartment is equipped with a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and two bedrooms. You can also choose to stay in the old house or the stable suite on the farmyard, as well as the Tverrli mountain cabin or Ruslebu located in the wilderness. If you are looking for simpler accommodations, you can book a stay in one of the farm's Gypsy caravans. These are equipped with a double bed, and you can use the farm's fire pits for cooking and leisure.
Telemark Camping & Motel
By Skredvann in Fyresdal, you will find Telemark Camping & Motel, a cozy campsite with 8 cabins, 8 motorhome spaces, glamping, and its own motel. The campsite is equipped with Wi-Fi, showers, toilets, and a shared outdoor kitchen. Boats and canoes are also included in the rental. The motel building consists of one triple room and three double rooms with toilet, shower/bathtub, TV, coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. There is also an apartment for up to 6 people, equipped with a nice kitchen, luxury shower, and TV. Telemark Camping is also the starting point for exciting experiences with Via Ferrata Telemark. Here, you can climb Skrede Mountain via a cable-protected route, a tour of about 4 hours. The activity is suitable for families with active children aged 7 and up.
Øyne Camping
At the southern end of Fyresvatn, Øyne Camping is located, 26 minutes from Treungen and 34 minutes from Hamaren Activity Park, Tretoppveien, and Folkestadbyen. The campsite offers rental of 4 camping cabins, caravan spaces, motorhome parking, and boat spaces. The kiosk sells ice cream, candy, and fishing gear. The area has a rich variety of hiking and fishing opportunities, with marked trails of varying lengths and difficulties. Additionally, the campsite has a 400-meter long white sandy beach, perfect for bathing enthusiasts of all ages. Øyne Camping also hosts various events during the summer season.
