Gamlehuset – accomodates 7:
This is the old main house of the farm. The house is 1.5 stories high and exudes beautiful, old charm. On the ground floor, you will find a large kitchen, a living room, a laundry room, and a toilet. The kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher, coffee maker, and everything you need for cooking. Both the kitchen and the living room have wood stoves that provide extra warmth and coziness. The second floor has three bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower, offering plenty of space for a relaxing night's sleep. The house also has WIFI, TV, running water, and electricity, ensuring all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
Stabburet – accomodates 4:
This cabin is a cozy storehouse on the farm that offers a unique atmosphere. The storehouse is divided into two floors. There are two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, and a hallway on the ground floor, while the living room with a kitchenette is on the second floor. The kitchenette is well-equipped with everything you need for cooking, including a coffee maker so you can enjoy a good cup of coffee in the morning. There is a steep staircase/ladder between the floors, both inside and outside. With a mix of traditional charm and modern conveniences, this storehouse is a perfect place for a quiet and pleasant holiday.
Birtedalen offers activities all year round
From the cabin, it is a short distance to a swimming area, great fishing lakes, and marked hiking trails. There is also the possibility to rent a boat on the beautiful Øyarvatn. In winter, you can put on your skis right on the farm and walk about 200 meters to reach the ski trail, which is approximately 35 km long.
