Cabin "Birtehytta" at lake Birtevatn
Birtehytta is located at the southern end of Birtevatn and features a beautiful sandy beach, late evening sun, and views of Rjupetoheia. The cabin has a kitchen, a living room, and four single beds distributed in two sleeping alcoves. It is of basic standard, with an outhouse in the vestibule and no running water or electricity. Water can be fetched from the creek or the well house, and food is prepared using propane and a hotplate. There is a road all the way to the cabin, making access easy.
Birtehytta is a great starting point for hunting and fishing, or for taking wonderful hikes along the tourist trail to Granbustøyl and Hengeltjørnloftet.

Ufsbu Cabin at lake Ufstjønn
Ufsbu is located by Ufstjønn at the top of Langfoss, and both the location and the cabin itself are experiences to behold. The cabin includes a kitchen, a living room, three single beds in the main room, and a bedroom with a bunk bed and a sofa bed, providing a total of six sleeping places. Ufsbu is of basic standard with an outhouse. The refrigerator and stove are gas-powered. Water is fetched from the creek, and the cabin has a solar power system that provides electricity for some indoor lamps and 12V charging for mobile phones.
With its unique location, Ufsbu offers a fantastic opportunity to experience nature at its best. The cabin is a perfect base for outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and swimming, or simply enjoying the peaceful tranquility.
