The first kilometer of the trek is less steep than the rest. After that it's a varied, some places steep route to the top. The track up is four km long, and takes about 1,5 hours.
You will encounter lots of the characteristic bare rockface that makes the Nissedal mountains so unique. Although the route is steep, the walk to the beacon at the top of the mountain is easy on the rockface. Do not take this walk when it's raining. The svabergs can be slippery. 20 % of the route is on typical forest path.
You can start the hike by parking at the sports arena approx. 1 km south of the village center/ bridge, and walk from there. There are signs and very good blue markings all along the path.
