The Sandvann cabin is a half-timbered cabin that is fantastically located at the shore of lake Sandvann. The cottage is built of local timber on site. Since the cottage is facing south, it has good sun conditions from morning to evening.
Standard of the cabin
The cottage has a simple standard with open living room and kitchen solution and 2 bedrooms that sleep 4 people. In the living room there is a sofa and a separate dining area.
The kitchen is equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils, as well as gas refrigerator and gas burner. A photovoltaic system provides electricity for light.
In the bedroom there are mattresses, but you must bring a duvet and pillow or sleeping bag.
The cottage has an outdoor toilet.
Outside the cottage there is a nice veranda with roof and panoramic views of lake Sandvann.
Not mobile coverage
There is no cell phone coverage in the area.
Dogs allowed
It is allowed to bring a dog.
Activities around the cottage
There is good hiking terrain in the area and many roads that are suitable for cycling or hiking.
When you rent the cabin, you also have access to a canoe that you can use to paddle down the stream to lake Sandtjern. If you are lucky, you may get a glimpse of the beaver that is common in the area!
