Lauhom is an idyllic old forest house deep in the forests of Drangedal which is a perfect starting point for walks, fishing, swimming and outdoor life!
Standard at the cabin
The cabin does not have running water or electricity, but there are solar cell systems that provide light as well as a gas refrigerator and gas stove. There is no cell phone coverage at the lodge. The cabin is connected to a shed so that you do not have to go out to get firewood. There is a bio toilet / outdoor toilet and a simple shower solution in the private bathroom. The cottage consists of 3 bedrooms and open living room / kitchen, hallway, shed and bathroom / toilet. There are 2 double bedrooms and one bedroom with family bunk, that provide a total of 7 beds. In the living room there is a dining table for 6 people, sofa and 2 armchairs, as well as a large and good wood stove. The kitchen has a gas hob and - fridge as well as kitchen utensils.
Access to the cottage
In summer you can drive all the way to the cottage. In winter it is approx. 8 km to the cottage. It is possible to rent snowmobile transport, contact the landlord for prices.
Boat to the cabin
When you rent the cabin, it comes with a boat located at lake Stølevann right next to the cabin. In the water you can fish for trout of good quality. For tips on other fishing lakes, contact the landlord.
