Skien fritidspark is one of Norway's largest and most complete sports and leisure parks. Here you are guaranteed speed, fun and excitement. From the same "front door" you can experience both summer and winter activities all year round, you can combine a training trip with spa, an experience of mastery and good food with good friends.

The Water park
The park's biggest attraction is the water park. No matter the weather outside, here you will always find warm water and a good atmosphere inside the bathing park at Skien fritidspark! Do you like water? Then you have a lot to look forward to when you come here. Here you can dive, climb, swim, or slide. If you need a break, you can relax in one of our comfortable sun loungers along with something refreshing from the Café Aqua.

Spa and wellness
Here you can relax in a calm and comfortable atmosphere. In the spa department you will find 6 themed saunas which together will give you a holistic experience for both body and soul. In the spa area you can enjoy massages and facials. The therapists also offer manicures, pedicures, and hair removal.

Outdoor climbing park with double zipline at 220 meters!
The climbing park has 7 different trails that ensure excitement both high and low for young and old! Meet at the Café Pucken in the ice hall, where you get equipped with climbing gear before training. Then you are ready to mill across the course side by side! Here you are guaranteed to get suction in your stomach and wind in your hair! You can book online and climb as long as you want within the opening hours.

Padelbane
Padel is a mix of squash and tennis. It is usually played in double format (4 people) on a closed glass court. The court is one third the size of a tennis court. You can book the courses online, but they are also open for drop-in. You can bring your own equipment or rent it at the Café Pucken. Season is from April - October.

Frisbee golf
Frisbee golf can be found in the park's outdoor area. The Frisbee golf course in the leisure park has 18 baskets, where 1-7 is a park course, 8-14 is a forest course and 15-18 is in open terrain. If you have your own frisbee, it is free to play.

Beach courses
You will find four beach courts at the leisure park Skien fritidspark, including two beach volleyball courts. The courses are outdoors and have an amphitheater of grass for the public. The courses are free to use.

Ice rink in winter.
Skien fritidspark has a large outdoor skating rink with skate rental that is open every day. The skating season usually starts in early November and lasts until mid-March.

Hiking and cross country skiing trails
In the forest in Skien leisure park you will find many walks and cross country skiing trails. The trails are 1 km, 2.5 km and 5 km. The light trail is lit until kl. 22.00 every night. There is also a nature trail suitable for disabled people with a picnic areas.

Curling
Curling is a growing and challenging sport and an excellent activity when you want to gather colleagues, friends and neighbors. Skien fritidspark offers 2 hours of curling for groups with an instructor. The curling rink is open all year round and you can order courses at www.skienfritidspark.no

Mini golf and tennis court
Mini golf is a great activity for families, children and young people. You will find a 18-hole mini golf course and 4 tennis courts on the artificial turf course. Equipment for mini golf or the tennis court can be rented at the Café Pucken at the ice hall.

Mountain biking
In the forest of the Skien fritidspark, several cycling clubs have built and marked cool mountain bike trails with several "obstacles". If you do not have a bicycle, you can rent one at the hotel in the park.

Sports halls
Skien fritidspark has three sports halls. The largest hall (Skienshallen) is 3000 m2 with grandstand space for 2,800 spectators. The multi-purpose hall is 1,000 m2 adapted for gymnastics, ball sports, bouldering and climbing. Both halls can also be used for trade fairs, concerts and exhibitions. The park also has its own ice rink with two ice surfaces. The large ice surface, the ice hockey field, is mostly used for organized training, matches and tournaments, while the small ice is used for curling.

The Hotel fritidsparken
Sports hotel in the middle of the park with 65 rooms including 10 apartments. Here you will also find motorhome parking with 14 parking spaces and all facilities. The hotel has new rooms specially adapted for guest with disabilities.
