Duration: approx. 1 hr 40 min (3.8 km)
Difficulty level: Easy
Season: June–Sept
Description of hike
The first part of the hike follows the trail to Melakollen, but instead of turning left uphill to Melakollen, you continue straight on to Prestegården. You pass a felling patch then, just over half way, cross Frimannsdalen. The path continues over the ridge and down to Prestegårdseter.
This route follows an old road in forest terrain from Brånaskotet to Prestegårdseter.
Access
Follow county road 32 uphill towards Steinsholt, approx. 1.5 km from the centre of Siljan. There is parking on the right-hand side, immediately before the small cattle grid at the top of the hill.
