The region of Vrådal is located in West-Telemark and is an attractive destination all year round. Both summer and winter, Vrådal offers activities for the whole family based on the beautiful nature and the opportunities it offers.
In the summer, Vrådal offers activities for the whole family. In recent years, the emphasis has been on upgrading the hiking routes. Hikers can choose between short forest walks or long mountain walks. The new 9-hole golf course at Fossøy in Nisser is beautifully situated and offers god challenges in the game. Lake Nisser invites to water activity, whether you want to go to the beach and swim or take a trip by rowing boat, canoe or kayak that can be rented in several places in Vrådal. The veteran boat M/S Fram sails sightseeing tours 2-4 times a week from May to October.
In addition to the activities found in Vrådal itself, the place is also a great starting point for experiencing many of the other attractions Telemark has to offer.
In winter, Vrådal Panorama Ski Center offers slopes in all categories. The 8-seater chairlift ensures short queues. Additionally, there are 4 ski lifts and 2 conveyor belts at the children's area. The ski center also provides ski hire, ski school, a café and restaurant. Cross-country ski runs can be found at the ski center itself as well as several other places in Vrådal. There is a total of about 30 kilometers of Cross-country ski runs within the forest and the mountain site around Vrådal.
Vrådal offers accommodation in hotels, cabins and apartments of good standard.
