Morgedal Camping is an idyllic and peaceful small campsite located by Morgedalsttjønni (Morgedal Lake) in the beautiful village of Morgedal in Telemark – the cradle of modern skiing.
Here, you can enjoy camping with a motorhome, caravan, or tent. You can also stay in a log cabin with a kitchen and bathroom.
Morgedal Camping offers spaces for motorhomes, caravans, and tents, both with and without electricity.
All guests at the campsite have access to a cozy, renovated sanitary building with toilets, showers, a washing machine, and water.
During your stay at Morgedal Camping, you can borrow a kayak or boat or try your luck at fishing. Additionally, there is a nice swimming area both at the campsite and 500 meters away at Morgheim.
Morgedal Camping is a 30-minute drive from the Telemark Canal and the West-Telemark Museum in Eidsborg. Morgedal has several great dining options, a ski museum, and serves as a fantastic base for hiking and cycling trips, as well as skiing in winter.
Check-in is self-service via SMS, phone, or email.
Morgedal Camping does not have its own restaurant but is located just 1 km from Morgedal Hotel and Museum Café Morgedal.
Morgedal Camping is beautifully situated in a quiet setting at the end of Morgedalstjønni Lake, 1 km from Morgedal center. The campsite is accessible via the E134, with exits from both the southern and northern parts of Morgedal, approximately 1 km from the campsite.
