Valleråsen in Porsgrunn is located in what is called "Bymarka" and is a popular hiking area.
You follow a blue-marked path to Valleråsen from the car park at Montèr. Nice view of Porsgrunn and the fjord from the top.
Access with your own car
Ut.no has received permission to use the car park at Montér for parking for those going to Valleråsen from Moheim. The Montér building is located at Moheimkrysset, right at the beginning of Bjørkedalsveien - towards Oklungen. Thanks to Montér Porsgrunn who makes his car park available to those who choose to go to Valleråsen.
