The collection, which includes several thousand porcelain objects from Porsgrunds Porcelain Factory, is largely built on gifts from the city's inhabitants. Here you will find cups from the very first burning in 1887 and up to 2000.

Famous Norwegian Designers 
The collection show original watercolors and decorations by famous Norwegian artists such as Gerhard Munthe, Oluf Wold Thorne, Theodor Kittelsen, Thorolf Holmboe, Johan Sirnes, Kris Samsing and Danish Hans Flygenring.

Nora Gulbrandsen is dedicated to a large department, and post-war leading Norwegian designers such as Grethe Rønning, Anne Marie Ødegaard, Unni Johnsen, Eystein Sandnes, Tias Eckhoff, Konrad Galaaen, Leif Helge Enger and Danish Poul Jensen are all well represented.
