There are toilets, brewer's houses and other buildings as well as water posts that are still to be seen in the yard. The little houses are red painted. This paint is a product of the iron ore on which Jernverket builds its production on.
The houses were protected in the 1980s and is now filled with museums, exhibitions, shops and workshops.
