Be well prepared for the trip, whether it's a short trip or a daytrip on top of a mountain. Check the mini guide. Here you will find the level of difficulty you should be prepared for, and also the unique features of the trip.
Food and good clothing
Wear decent footwear and bring food, drink and change of clothing. Although it is summer, it can be cold in Norway. An extra pair of socks and a wollen shirt are handy on longer trips. Consider bringing a wind jacket for use when you reach the mountain top. Binoculars and additional maps of the area can make the experience even better.
