Enjoy the calmness of the norwegian wilderness in the Birdbox Mini located in Dalen, Telemark, Norway. This waterside retreat gives you closeness to the fresh water lake where you can go for a early morning swim and meditate on the nearby dock. A true calming experience.

Enjoy a relaxing and romantic stay with the stunning view of Lake Åmlivatn just outside the giant panoramic window. The nature in the area is known for it's beauty and rich wildlife. Our luxurious Birdbox has a king size bed and one-way windows. 

Feel the tranquility at Lake Åmlivatn, while the fish jump, the birds chirp and the beaver glides by quietly. Take a fishing trip in the boat or sit on the pier and feel the calm.

Whether you are a nature lover or nature photographer, this is a completely unique place. The animal and bird life is rich at the same time as nature is like being taken out of an adventure.

We can also tempt you with a toilet and shower with a whole one-way glass in front, where you can enjoy nature out, but not in.

We have set up a pier and have our own boat at our disposal, as well as a fire pit and firewood that is ready for the guests.

The guests get the whole place all to themselves.

Short distance to attractions such as Åmdals Verk Mines and Grimdalstunet, 20 minutes drive to Dalen with, among other attractions, magnificent Dalen Hotel and Soria Moria sauna.
