The journey continues to the West-Telemark Museum, where Arne and Stig experience one of the world's oldest wooden buildings, Stålekleivloftet, which tells the story of Åse Stålekleiv, the Queen of Eidsborg, and her three sons.
We also become acquainted with Eidsborg Stave Church, one of Norway's best-preserved stave churches, built in the 1200s. One of the most fascinating stories connected to Eidsborg Stave Church is the legend of Saint Nikuls, a patron saint of sailors and travelers who was once revered here. Eidsborg Stave Church is said to have been an important stop for pilgrims on their way to Røldal Stave Church.
