Tinnemyra is a popular, family-friendly bathing area located in Notodden, Telemark. The site features a sandy beach, calm waters, and safe swimming conditions for children and families. You’ll also find several places to swim from rocks and a floating dock on the lake.
The bathing area is well adapted for visitors with reduced mobility, offering facilities that make it easier to access both the beach and the water.
A scenic 2 km hiking trail circles the lake, ideal for walking or jogging. Along the trail you’ll find several picnic areas with benches and grills—perfect for a relaxing break in nature.
On warm summer days, fishing in Tinnemyra is also a popular activity, often combined with swimming and sunbathing.
There is no kiosk or café at the bathing area, so remember to bring your own food and drinks for a picnic. Please note that open fires are not allowed on the beach itself, but there are several designated picnic areas with grills along the hiking trail.
