Notodden can offer a varied selection of nice places to get something good to eat or drink. We have restaurants, cafes and bakeries that serve everything from traditional Norwegian food to sushi.

You can, for example, start the day with breakfast at Stasjonen Kafé, in a historic setting in Hydroparken. The beautiful Art Nouveau station building dates from 1909, and was Notodden's first railway station.

Then, you can move upwards towards the city center and enjoy a delicious lunch in Felicia's Have (garden), which has a cozy outdoor terrace in one of the city's side streets.

During the day you can take a break at Aasmundsen bakery with a good cup of coffee and some fresh pastries.

Towards evening, you can treat yourself to a better dinner at EYDE Bar & Restaurant's outdoor restaurant, while looking at life in our small town. Here you can stay until the evening when the place has all the rights, or take the trip down to Bok og Blueshuset (House of Books and Blues) and to the outdoor terrace of Danys Café.
