Bathing area

The summers in Notodden tend to be warm and sunny. It provides opportunities for sunbathing and swimming at our many bathing spots.

At Heddalsvannet you will find the city beach, which is a child - friendly and beautiful park area, with a sandy beach.

It is also child - friendly at Tinnemyra. A great place to swim, with a fine sandy beach. The area is adapted for people with reduced mobility, both on land and at sea.

Svingen beach is a well hidden beach along Heddøla. The beach is large and the water is fresh.

Follsjø is a favorite among the locals. An idyllic, quiet place to sunbathe on a mountain and take a swim in clean and fresh water.

Linstå beach is a nice little beach by Heddalsvannet. A hidden gem along the industrial promenade.
