The grocery store "Spar Fyresdal" is conveniently located in the center, just 50 meters from the main parking lot of Hamaren Activity Park by the Community House. The store is newly renovated and spacious for a pleasant shopping experience. Spar offers a wide selection of all your grocery needs. The fruit and vegetable section is the heart of the store, always brimming with tempting goods. We believe in good lunch options, so you'll find hot meals, a salad bar, and pre-made sandwiches. Spar strives to stock what customers request and values having a varied and desirable inventory.

The store is owned by the four Aas siblings, who took over "Fyresdal Mat" from their father in 2007. Two of them work here, while the others help out as needed! Since then, the store has been on an exciting journey with chain changes and renovations. After the summer of 2023, with an "explosion" of tourists to our village due to Hamaren Activity Park, we quickly realized we needed more space! We broke ground in September 2023, and on January 18th, we had a grand opening. The area was doubled, all machines and equipment were replaced, and we gained a better selection, more space, and a much better workplace for those of us who work here. We are very satisfied with the result.
