For those who enjoy climbing outdoors, the most popular spot in Bamble is a south-facing wall located near Valle. Indoor climbing is offered in the Skjærgårdshallen, the nearest neighbor to the Quality Hotel Skjærgården. Here is the Skjærgården climbing club. In the club evenings, wall, equipment and instructor are included in the membership fee. Groups can also rent a wall, equipment and in an instructor in the hall.
Tegdal in Valle is a warm and nice place, the wall is south-facing and quickly gets dry, which makes it possible to climb almost year-round. Granite mountains with good friction with heights from 10-40m. Suitable for top ropes, clogging and walking.
Take E18 at Feset and drive towards Valle. First road to the right after the Fossing junction. There is a fairly large mailbox rack at the junction. Park here at Valleveien as there are no parking spaces further down. It is only 200m to walk along the path to the path to the right which after a few minutes takes you to the climbing field.
