In the middle between Oslo and Kristiansand, at the far end of the Telemark coast, is Sjøterrassen motorhome camp and restaurant. The motorhome camp is open all year round and has 30 nice seasonal pitches. The motorhome camp also offers septic tank emptying, electricity, water (water in winter up by the restaurant) and toilets. It is approx. 15km from the E18 in Bamble out to Sjøterrassen.

Sjøterrassen Rorbuer
In addition, Sjøterrassen will in February 2022 have more accommodation options. Then 6 fisherman's cabins, Sjøterrassen Robuer, will be finished. These are units that offer bathroom, bedroom, living room, loft, balcony and beautiful location by the sea. You can book a place from february 2022.
Development
Sjøterrassen is developing a kitchen, conference hall, reception and sanitary area (primarily for motorhome guests) with showers and toilets. This will be completed during the year 2022.
Sjøterrassen Restaurant
Sjøterrassen restaurant is a great restaurant and from the large terrace there is a beautiful sea view towards Trosbyfjorden. Here you will be served food for all occasions, and with opportunities for closed parties and events. The restaurant's exciting menu varies depending on the seasons and special occasions such as concerts, October party, Halloween party, etc. The sea terrace has many activities throughout the year.
Separate menu for dogs
If you have a dog with you, it is also very welcome. The restaurant collaborates with Bamble Zoo, so here they are served their own dog menu.
Beach
Just below the restaurant and the motorhome camp, there is a nice beach that is known for having good bathing temperatures in the summer. Rødlanda is a popular beach that is widely used by locals and tourists.

From Sjøterrassen you can in the summer join Skjærgårdscruise with the boat ØY VIND.
The popular coastal path in Bamble runs through Sjøterrassen.
The charming roads in the immediate area are popular with cyclists. Cycle route no. 1 runs along the coast right nearby.
It is a short way to the places Valle, Stathelle and Langesund, as well as the attractions Porcelain Museum, Brekkeparken with Escaperoom, Henrik Ibsen Museum, Telemarkskanalen and Skien leisure park. For day trips, Hulfjell farm, Bø sommerland and Norsjø Wakeboardpark are within just over an hour's drive.
