Kilen Feriesenter
Idyllically situated at Flåvann, Kilen Feriesenter. The place has a sandy beach similar to beaches in southern parts of the world, bathing temperatures usually between twenty and twenty-five degrees in the summer and the opportunity to buy coffee and ice. A good place to take a stopover.
See Selma from the sauna
On the way against Seljord the tour continues on dirt road and uphill large parts of the way. You get rewarded when you come down to the water and enjoy the view of the fabled lake where the sea monster Selma is located. At the waterfront you'll find a sauna which you can access by calling the tourist information in Seljord.
Bø museum
Oterholt was the first trading post and village center in Bø, and is the bridge that crosses Bøelva heading towards Liheia. From ancient times the square was called "Tatergata" (The Gypsy Street). Probably because it was teeming with people, trade and commerce here - a place people searched for.
On the way from Bø museum, the Evju Farmyard route goes past the water park Bø Summerland.
Evju Bygdetun (Evju Farmyard)
Evju Farmyard is located between Gvarv and Hørte and the route goes right past. The old houses in the yard is from 17- and 1800s. Both inventory and many objects tells the story of a farm where the owners held on
rural traditions. Each house has its story and here it is interesting to make a stop on a bicycle ride. Open seasonal.
Fruktbygda (Fruit Village)
Meet the lush landscape with flowering fruit tree in spring and bountiful fruit tree in autumn. A fantastic landscape with hospitable, manicured farms. Several of the farms engaged in tourism and experiences ranging from art exhibitions, microbrews and farm shops. On the ride bikes you right past Gvarv Fruits & Berries with a large variety of local products.
Enjoy your spectacular bike ride through Telemark!
