Galleries in Skien

Telemark Art Center is located in the old, beautiful Norges Bank building in Skien. The art center promotes art as a subject in Telemark and has, among other things, art exhibitions and art projects and decorations among its core areas.

Skien Art Association has its exhibitions in the foyer of the cultural center Ibsenhuset. Here they show contemporary art and site-specific exhibitions by both foreign and Norwegian artists. The art association also produces the annual traveling exhibition Telemarksutstillingen.

Spriten Kunsthall is located in the old spirits factory on Klosterøya. The art gallery shows exhibitions, theater and film screenings, the concert series #Nylyd, lectures and much more.
