Climbing park and climbing wall at Skien Fritidspark

Climbing is a fun and sometimes challenging activity that is suitable for the whole family.

Skien Fritidspark is located in a quiet area, 3 km outside Skien city center. Here, you are welcome to try the outdoor climbing park with a double zipline of 220 meters and 7 courses with different levels of difficulty. Here, you are promised a delightful experience with a real rush of adrenaline when you race over the course. You can also climb indoors. The Fritidsparken has a large, indoor climbing wall, with a height of 14.7 meters and a width of 18 meters, and with its own bouldering room.

The environmentally friendly climbing center, Høyt Under Taket, is located on Klosterøya in Skien and opened in 2022. Here, fun climbing activities are offered for both children, youth, and adults.

Another climbing area is Ramberget in Skien. Ramberget is located a short distance from the city and is an easily accessible, family-friendly cliff with sports routes for all levels. If you are looking for some more challenging climbing routes, the Blæsa climbing area in Luksefjell in Skien is a good choice.
