About

If you are looking for a nice guest harbor or a great destination for both adults and children – with swimming opportunities, sanitary facilities, and a kiosk – then Saltneven is a great alternative. There is always activity there, it is not far from Kragerø town, and it is a cozy and pleasant place when the weather is rough out at sea.

There are many nice outports in the Kragerø archipelago. The outports are lovely in good weather, and you will find peace there. In the guest harbor at Saltneven, it is quiet and peaceful, with great harbor conditions, good swimming opportunities, friendly hosts, showers, and toilets. There is also a kiosk. If you have a dinghy, it's just a short trip across the fjord to Kragerø town.

Saltneven offers the best of both worlds – a mix between an outport and a city harbor. To the delight of all visitors, significant investments are now being made in dock facilities and a nice new boathouse on the dock. Throughout the school holiday, there is a host at Saltneven.

If you arrive by boat to Saltneven, you will be warmly welcomed and assisted to the dock.
