There are not many small towns with their very own butcher and icecream manufacturer, local fish landing and baker - and we are proud to offer all this in Kragerø. 
Go through the narrow streets and explore exciting niche shops with a selection unlike anywhere else. The city's shops offer something for everyone, whether you are looking for a new dress, a new suit, or maybe a new swimsuit? 
On the way you can take a break at one of the city's many cafes and restaurants before continuing through charming streets and narrow alleyways. A must on a sunny day in Kragerø is to enjoy a delicious homemade icecream in freshly baked cones at the local icecream manufacturer.
Continue to explore charming interior shops with a huge selection, taste the amazing coffee at our local coffee roaster, Kragerø Kaffebrenneri, and enjoy fresh baking at the city's bakers. 
In the end, you can end the day shopping for today's dinner. At the local butcher's shop, they have Norway's largest selection of sausages in the counter, they have a total of 67 different kinds. If it is the temptations of the sea you are looking for, Kragerø Seafood is on the dock with its own reception. Just enjoy the fresh ingredient straight from the sea or from the butcher’s bench.

Late-night shopping in July
Night-open, a special event when shops stay open until 24:00. With lots of extra special offers, late-night shopping in Kragerø is the summer's highlight. Shopaholics fill the streets from early morning until midnight.
