Torleif is an award-winning photographer. He has received more than 200 awards and prizes in several of the world's most renowned international photo competitions; Hasselblad Masters, Prix de la Photographie Paris, London International Creative Competition, International Photography Awards - IPA, Professional Photographers of America, Federation of European Photographers, One Eyeland, International Photography Awards, International Color Awards.
In 2022, he won first place in the National Competition in Art Photography (Open Class). The national competition is the official national competition for all professional photographers in Norway.
Torleif was one of ten finalists in the acclaimed Hasselbald Masters 2022 in the aerial photography category.
In 2021, he was on the national team in photography, which represented Norway in The World Photographic Cup.
In 2020, he won first place in the Budapest International Photo Awards, Professional, Nature.
The photo series "How we Bleed the Earth, our Guilt and Shame" was in 2020 selected to the Top 5 of the International Photo Awards - IPA

The gallery is located just outside Åmdals Verk. From Dalen you follow the road towards Drangedal (38) for 20 minutes, when you have passed Åmdals Verk you follow the road further. After approx. 800 meters you will see a sign with Lie Gjestegaard and Thor Fine Art Gallery on the right side of the road. From Vrådal you follow the road towards Dalen (38) for 29 km and 30 minutes, the gallery is on the left side of the road just before you reach Åmdals Verk. You will see a sign with Lie Gjestegaard and Thor Fine Art Gallery.
