Did you know that Skåtøy is Telemark's largest island, and the only place in Norway with a species of ant that lives off slavery? Or that the Eidkilkanalen was built after a tragic family incident? Have you heard about the Coastal Fort at Krikken, and the 200 German soldiers who lived there during the war? Or about Skåtøy's many minerals, which were created 1.5 milliard years ago, when they were inside a mountain range as high as the Himmalayas. You will hear about this and much more when you join us on a guided walk on Skåtøy. The walks can be tailored based on the desired theme, length and duration.

Duration:

•  1 to 5,5 hours

Requirements for physical fitness, age, prior knowledge, etc.

• Normally in good physical shape, must be able to walk on forest trails.
