Do you want to be off the beaten track, in a homely place with a good atmosphere, paths on all sides and the sea not far away? Then you can choose Øytunet accommodation. Øytunet is idyllically located on Vestre Skåtøy and only 10 minutes by ferry from the center of Kragerø. Skåtøy is the largest island in the Kragerø Archipelago. A few hundred meters north of Øytunet, you´ll find the Eidkil Canal. The Eidkil Canal is a waterway that splits the island in two, and in one end of the canal there’s a troll painted on the mountain. The “Eidkilstroll” has been an ionic and well know landmark in Kragerø for over 90 years. About a kilometer to the south you will find the Krikken coastal fort from the WW2. Both places are interesting destinations.
