Dalen in Tokke is located in the heart of Telemark at the upper end of the Telemark Canal. A journey on the Telemark Canal from 1892 is a journey in nature and culture, through locks and canals and across large lakes where nature is constantly changing. The canal stretches 105 km inland from Skien to Dalen - a unique piece of cultural history from coast to mountain.
